“Florence B was amazing!”
While visiting friends in Sydney I had two terrific 90 minute massages from Florence. She was able to relieve by back pain while giving me really great massages that relieved and relaxed my entire body. “Nature’s Energy” is a very nice, upscale day spa in Balmain. All staff members were friendly and helpful.
My husband and I own two massage businesses in the U.S. and I get weekly massages there, but I can say that the massages I had with Florence were some of the best I’ve ever had.

“First time massage. Fantastic experience.”
I was looking for something for my boyfriend and I to do this Valentine’s weekend. We’re both students so we didn’t want to splurge and it was forecast to rain. I decided on a massage. I shopped around and after reading Pamela D’s review below, I was convinced. I booked us in for a 30min Stress Relief Massage because we had never had a massage before, we didn’t know what to expect and the combination of Deep Tissue, Ka Huna, Acupressure, Swedish and Reflexology sounded interesting. The lady who booked us in over the phone was kind enough to explain the different techniques, which made me feel confident about my choice.
We arrived this morning and I was so happy to find out that Florence would be taking care of me. Before getting starting, we discussed my history of lower back pain and she made me feel really comfortable. I also loved the firmness in the massage techniques she used. It’s that good pain! She recommended that I come back for a longer treatment so she can spend more time focusing on my knots and alignment.
Florence reaffirmed what my chiropractor told me about my back and posture, which makes me confident about her expertise. Thank you so much!
My boyfriend was allocated to Sophia. I can’t speak for his experience but he enjoyed it. He played a lot rugby in the past and he said that she was able to pick up on the impact of playing for so many years on back and shoulders. He tells me that he feels taller and wants to keep a good posture so as to not undo everything Sophia’s done. As he lays here next to me snoring, I can tell that he’s relaxed. Thanks Sophia.
I also had a browse around their store and impulse bought a wood wick candle entitled ‘Haven – retreat from the world – Sanctuary’. It’s been burning in front of me and it’s doing well against the “boy smell” I’m surrounded by. I bought the large one, priced at $33, and is good for 90hrs of burn time. It has subtle scent, not too overpowering and crackles. It’s pretty cool. I also bought the ‘Cellulite Reduction Massager Body Pack” which comes with an essential oil blend and a soft-tipped massager. I’m hoping it’ll compliment my exercise program and healthy eating regime.
Overall, a fantastic first time experience and will be booking my again in a few weeks for my boyfriend’s birthday.
